Craig is originally from Sydney, Australia. He moved to the USA in 2001, where he spent 10 years in Las Vegas. Leaving behind a long career in gymnastics, as an elite gymnast himself and also coaching multiple women’s elite programs in Australia, he was excited about the new opportunities in the States.
Craig started in the sport when he was 4 years old and had his first part time job when he was 14, coaching boys recreation, trampoline, and tumbling. At the age of 17, he started his first girls elite program and over the next 4 years had a number of girls selected for scholarships at the Australian Institute of Sport.
After moving to the Gold Coast in Queensland, he soon began coaching another girls elite program at Gold Coast Gymnastics where he reunited with one of his childhood coaches to coach for the next few years before moving to Las Vegas.
Once again his passion for the sport led him to coach at one of the most reputable gyms in the Las Vegas area. He was heavily involved in coaching a large and successful women’s elite program with high level and Olympic level athletes.
Now the head coach of MJ Elite Gymnastics, he has transformed the gymnasts that he is coaching, producing amazing results over the last few seasons. He has captivated the community gaining respect from his peers and is dedicated to building an amazing team of coaches, giving any gymnast under his guidance the opportunity to pursue their dreams, as far as it may take them.
